T.I.D. #2 – Village of Oostburg

Mentink's Market, was located in downtown Oostburg, had outgrown its space and was considering relocating outside the Village. Nearby the Village's previous high school building had sat vacant for a number of years.  The Village created T.I.D. #2, to develop a buildable site for Mentink's Market at the old high school site.

Crispell-Snyder coordinated soil remediation, property acquisition and permitting from the railroad, conducted meetings with adjacent business owners and negotiating easements, design of sanitary sewer and water main extensions, parking lot and storm water management facilities, and construction related services. Keeping the grocery store downtown in Oostburg has helped to maintain a vibrant main street business district in the Village of Oostburg.
