Pike River Improvements – Village of Mt. Pleasant

The Mount Pleasant Stormwater Utility District is in the midst of a multi-year program of floodplain improvements and flood controls for the Pike River within the District limits.

The project entails improvements along 5.7 miles of channel within a 17 square mile drainage basin.  More than just a flood control project, the project will restore natural stream features, enhance aquatic habitat, improve stream water quality, correct erosion problems and reverse the progressive deterioration of the stream.
