Ladish Tower Modifications – Village of Pleasant Prairie
When the Village negotiated with the Kenosha Water Utility (KWU) for a 30% water rate reduction in 2000, specific system improvements were identified and planned in phases in help reduce operating costs and provide more water system capacity for future growth. Crispell-Snyder, Inc. designed and managed these improvement projects, including the lowering of the existing Ladish Water Tower.
Lowering the height of the tower reduced the number of pressure zones in the Village, eliminated the need for costly water main upgrades in the area served by the Ladish Tower, and reduced the number of points where the Village draws water from the KWU. |
