Storm Water Engineer

If you are ready for a challenge - we are looking for you to fill this position! We are interested in a Civil Engineer (preferably licensed) with 4 to 8 years of experience in the planning, analysis and design of storm water management projects. The successful applicant should have the ability to utilize a wide variety of hydrologic and hydraulic software to meet the needs of our clients and support other departments within the company.  Projects within our department can range from simple pond evaluations and design to community wide storm water management planning to river restoration and flood control projects. Familiarity with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, PONDPACK and SLAMM are desirable. This position requires excellent writing and communication skills. Members of our department are frequently engaged in the preparation of reports, planning documents, specifications, grants applications, regulatory permits, oral and written communication with clients, the public and various other professionals. Must have the ability to work independently and be self motivated. The ability to prepare plans and specifications is highly desirable.
