GIS Manager

If you are ready for a challenge - we are looking for you to fill the GIS Manager position! The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in GIS, Geography, Planning, Cartography, or other relevant major and at least 5 plus years GIS experience. In addition, the ideal candidate will have proven skills in:

• ArcGIS 9.x  and extensions familiarity
• Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access and Power Point
• Managing teams on a daily basis
• Marketing GIS services
• Communicating between clients and the team providing GIS services
• Managing project costs
• Ensuring that project deadlines are met
• Facilitating the sharing of information across different departments within an organization;
• Managing budgets and resources
• Exploring new applications for the use of GIS
• Working independently and also effectively with staff, project managers, partners, and clients
